Answer from the places that suit you
Calls can be directed to dedicated indoor monitors and, with suitable equipment and connectivity, compatible smartphones.
We consider where calls need to be heard, who should receive them and how different entrances should be identified. For larger homes, multiple answering points can make visitor communication more convenient.
Remote answering options depend on the selected system, internet connection and any required app services or subscriptions. We explain these requirements before equipment is selected.
Front doors, pedestrian gates and driveways
An intercom needs to suit its location as well as its appearance.
We consider camera position, visitor approach, lighting, weather exposure, mounting height and the distance between the entrance and the home. Power, cabling and network connections are planned alongside the equipment.
Where entry release is required, we coordinate the intercom with compatible electric locks or gate controls so visitors can be admitted through the correct entrance.
Replace an ageing intercom
An older intercom does not always require an entirely new cable installation.
We assess the existing equipment, wiring and power supply to determine suitable replacement options. Depending on the installation, an upgrade may retain usable cabling while improving picture quality, answering options and everyday operation.

Standalone or integrated
You do not need a complete home automation system to install a video intercom.
A dedicated system can provide visitor communication and entry release on its own. For integrated homes, compatible intercoms can work alongside access control, CCTV, lighting and home-control interfaces.
Depending on the equipment, a visitor call might also trigger an announcement or another selected notification within the home.
Integration is planned around compatibility and useful everyday functions.
