HEATING & COOLING CONTROL
Everyday comfort. Thoughtfully controlled.
Smart heating, cooling and climate-control integration
Peninsula Smart Home Automation integrates compatible heating and cooling systems across the Mornington Peninsula, Bayside and Melbourne.
We make climate controls easier to use, whether you want convenient scheduling, remote access or heating and cooling brought into your wider smart-home system.
Our service focuses on controls and integration. We work alongside your heating and cooling contractor where equipment installation or mechanical servicing is required.
Air-conditioning control that suits your home
We assess ducted and split-system air conditioners to determine suitable control options.
Depending on the equipment and available interface, functions may include on/off control, temperature adjustment, operating modes, fan settings and zone selection.
Some installations support detailed control and status feedback; others provide more limited functions. We explain what your system supports before recommending equipment or programming.
Compatibility is checked against the actual equipment and controls installed—not the brand name alone.
Hydronic heating, heated floors and towel rails
We can assess control options for hydronic heating, electric underfloor heating and heated towel rails.
Suitable systems can be scheduled independently or coordinated with other home functions. Available control may range from timed switching to temperature adjustment or individual heating zones, depending on the installation.
We consider existing thermostats, floor sensors, controllers and manufacturer requirements when planning changes. Required temperature limits and equipment protections remain part of the design.
Schedules around your routine
Set heating and cooling routines around mornings, evenings and the times different areas are used.
For holiday homes, compatible remote access can allow you to adjust the system before travelling to the property. Slower-response heating, such as some underfloor and hydronic installations, is planned with suitable lead times.
Remote functions depend on the selected controls, connectivity and any required platform services or subscriptions.
Rooms and zones, where supported
Different spaces may have different comfort needs.
Where the heating and cooling equipment supports zoning, we can integrate compatible zone controls and temperature information.
We assess the existing zoning arrangement and available functions before promising room-by-room control. Adding automation does not, by itself, create independent temperature control in every room.
Standalone controls or whole-home integration
You do not need a complete home automation system to enquire about heating and cooling controls.
We can assess standalone control upgrades or bring suitable equipment into an integrated home.
A Goodbye scene might adjust selected climate settings when you leave. Compatible motorised blinds can also be coordinated with heating and cooling to help manage sunlight and heat gain.
Functions are selected around practical benefits, equipment capability and the way you use the property.
Existing systems and control upgrades
Already have heating or cooling installed? We assess the equipment, existing controls, cabling and available integration interfaces.
We welcome enquiries about all brands and systems installed by other companies. Suitable existing components can be retained where practical.
We also investigate integration faults, unreliable schedules and communication problems between compatible controllers and home-automation systems. Mechanical, refrigerant or heating-equipment faults are referred to the appropriate service contractor.
Plan before equipment is ordered
For new homes and renovations, early coordination helps avoid compatibility problems later.
We work with homeowners, builders and heating and cooling contractors to review equipment selections, control interfaces, cabling, thermostat positions and the functions required.
Planning the controls alongside the heating system gives everyone a clearer installation brief.
