HOME THEATRE & CINEMA
Cinema that belongs in your home.
Home theatre design and installation
Peninsula Smart Home Automation designs and installs home theatres and media rooms across the Mornington Peninsula, Bayside and Melbourne.
Whether you want a dedicated private cinema or an exceptional entertainment system in a shared living space, we plan the experience around the room and how you enjoy movies, sport and gaming.
Designed as a complete system
Screen size alone does not create a great theatre.
We consider viewing distance, seating layout, ambient light, speaker positions, bass performance and room acoustics together. Equipment locations, ventilation, cabling and service access are included in the planning.
The aim is balanced sound, a compelling picture and comfortable viewing, with equipment suited to the space.
Picture and sound with purpose
Solutions can include projectors, fixed or motorised screens, large-format televisions, surround sound speakers, subwoofers and acoustic treatment.
Speaker and equipment choices reflect the room, your listening preferences and the desired finish. Architectural speakers can provide discreet integration, while other spaces may suit visible loudspeakers.
Installation, configuration and calibration bring the individual components together.
Simple control from the first scene
Your theatre should be enjoyable to operate.
We configure suitable controls for selecting entertainment, adjusting volume and managing the system. With compatible integration, a Movie scene can also adjust lighting, close blinds and prepare the room.
A dedicated theatre can operate independently or form part of your wider smart home.
Improve an existing theatre
We assess established systems for equipment upgrades, revised speaker layouts, setup improvements and fault-finding.
Existing speakers, cabling and components may be retained where they remain suitable. We explain the practical options before recommending replacement.
